Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu raised to 25,000 from the cutoff, which was called by the big bind Michael Wang.

The flop came 528 and Wang checked to Negreanu, who bet out 25,000. Wang then decided to raise to 82,000, before Negreanu put in a three-bet to 164,000. Wang took some time before four-betting to put Negreanu all in for 425,000, which Negreanu called.

Daniel Negreanu: A5 All in
Michael Wang: K8

Wang was ahead with his pair of eights but would need to fade lots of out as Negreanu flopped second pair and the nut flush draw. Negreanu wouldn't have to wait long, as the 7 on the turn gave Negreanu the nuts, and officially secured the double after the 8 on the river.

"What Makes Me a Good Poker Player": Negreanu Just Calls With Fourth Nuts

Level 10 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu made an impressive play that got the whole table talking in a three-way pot against Chad Eveslage in the small blind and Michael Wang in middle position.

Action checked to Negreanu in the cutoff on the flop of 42K and he bet 25,000. Eveslage folded and Wang called. Both players then checked on the 3 turn.

The 8 river completed the board and Wang put out an overbet of 115,000. Negreanu gave it some thought and announced "call."

Wang showed KK for top set, and Negreanu giggled before tabling 88 after just calling with a set of eights for the fourth nuts.

"This is part of what makes me a good poker player!" Negreanu cheered as others at the table sat in disbelief.
