In a heads-up pot on a board of 4♥3♠4♠Q♦, Kent Stephens checked and Peter Mugar bet 60,000. Stephens called.
Stephens checked again on the A♥ river and Mugar checked back. Stephens announced that he had a missed draw as Mugar showed 5♣5♠ to win the hefty pot with just a pair of fives.

Gheba checked on the flop of 9♥K♣Q♥ and Seward continued for 12,000. Gheba called. Gheba checked again on the 7♦ turn and Seward sized up to 48,000. Gheba check-raised to 300,000 and Seward called off with less.
