"So Much"

Level 6 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Michael Brinkenhoff
Michael Brinkenhoff

Joey Weissman opened in the cutoff to 8,000, which was called by Jeremy Becker in the small blind.

Then, big blind Michael Brinkenhoff three-bet all in for 92,000. Weissman folded, but Becker confirmed the count and eventually made the call to put Brinkenhoff at risk.

Michael Brinkenhoff: 99 All in
Jeremy Becker: A10

As the cards were turned over, Becker said "Classic", but after the A7J flop, Brinkenhoff responded with "Not so much". Brinkenhoff was nearly out of his seat when the 2 hit the turn but quickly sat down after the 9 hit on the river, giving Brinkenhoff a set of nines and the double up.

A stunned Becker shook his head and said "so much" as he cut out his chips to pay Brinkenhoff.

C-Bet Wins it For Andrews

Level 6 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Action folded to Cherish Andrews on the button, and she raised to 10,000. She was called by Sean Winter in the small blind and the big blind Arthur Peacock.

After the KA4 flop, it was checked to Andrews who bet out 10,000. Winter gave it a quick thought before mucking, as did Peacock to give the pot to Andrews.

Runner-Runner Keeps Draper Alive

Level 5 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Bill Draper
Bill Draper

William Draper was all in for 25,000, with Jeremy Ausmus putting him at risk.

William Draper: AK All in
Jeremy Ausmus: 75

Draper was ahead with his ace high but was left drawing slim after the 773 flop gave Ausmus trips. But the A gave him hope, and another one followed on the river as the A completed the board, giving Draper the bigger full house, aces full sevens to double up.

David Coleman opened on the button to 6,500, and the big blind Joao Simao made the call.

Got to Get it in Bad to Win

Level 5 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Cary Katz
Cary Katz

Action was picked up on the turn with the board showing 710J9 and roughly 15,000 in the middle, and Cary Katz was all in for 119,000, with Matthew Wantman putting him at risk.

Cary Katz: AJ All in
Matthew Wantman: KQ

Katz had top pair, but would to find a club to beat the straight of Wantman. The river brought just what Katz was looking for, as the 8 came down to give Katz the flush, and double up.

As he took in the pot, he said "You got to get it in bad to win, right?"

Becker Slow-Rolls Riordan in the Ultimate Cooler

Level 4 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Jeremy Becker
Jeremy Becker

Jeremy Becker opened from the hijack to 5,000, and when it folded to John Riordan on the button, he three-bet to 15,500. It folded back to Becker, who then clicked it back to Riordan with a four-bet to 31,000. Riordan responded with a five-bet all in, slightly covering the 71,500 stack of Becker.

Becker then went into the tank saying, "I thought if I did that you would think I have aces".

He continued to sit in the tank, saying "Do you have a pair?" If you promise you don't have a pair, I will give you action"

Finally, before a time extension was needed, he flipped in a chip to make the call.

John Riordan: KK All in
Jeremy Becker: AA

Becker had the table, including Riordan cracking up at the slow roll, but there would be no justice for Riordan as the board ran out 8AJ76 giving Becker the double up with his set of aces.

A few hands later Riordan was eliminated.

Small Bet Gets it Done for Winter

Level 4 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Myles Mullaly raised from under the gun to 5,500, and it folded to the small blind Sean Winter, who three-bet to 22,000. Once the big blind folded, Mullaly made the call.

The flop came A5J and after Winter bet 10,000, it was enough to get Mullaly to fold and give the pot to Winter.
