Nick Webb Eliminated in Controversial Circumstances

Dan O'Shea raises to 8,000 and Michael Dunworth calls from the button. Nick Webb moves all in from the big blind for just over 140,000. Dan O'Shea folds and Dunworth announces, "Call, do you have a pair?" and tables pocket threes.

At this point in time, there seems to be some discrepency as to what was said, and Webb mucks his hand, thinking he has won the pot. Crown Tournament Director Brett Jones is called in to make a ruling. After some time in the tank, he eventually rules that since Dunworth had announced "call" and is the only one with a tabled hand, he will win the pot. As Dunworth has Webb covered, the ruling is effectively a disqualification, sending Nick Webb to the rail.
