Pedley Busts; Cabret Leads

Michael Pedley Eliminated
Michael Pedley Eliminated
Patrick Fletcher raised to 11,000 and Joe Cabret made the call before Michael Pedley moved all in over the top. Fletcher got out of the way but Cabret made the call.

Cabret: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Pedley: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The flop brought some hope for Pedley when it arrived {7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} but the {7-Spades} turn and {3-Spades} river left Pedley heading to an early dinner as Cabret will dine with the chip lead holding a massive 565,000 chips.

Dong Done On Airball

Jonathan "xMONSTERxDONGx" Karamalikis Eliminated
Jonathan "xMONSTERxDONGx" Karamalikis Eliminated
Catching the action on a flop of {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} Jonathan "xMONSTERxDONGx" Karamalikis fired 5,000 from the small blind before Jim Ververis popped it up to 15,000 to go from the big blind.

Karamalikis decided to move all-in for his last 50,000 but Ververis had no hesitation in making the call.

Ververis: {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Karamalikis: {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}

It was complete air for Karamalikis as Ververis tabled trip jacks. The turn was the {A-Hearts} and the river the {5-Hearts} and a day which started off with so much potential and almost reached dizzying heights has crashed and burned short of the cash for the online sensation.

Sosnowski Doubles Through Cabret

Joe Cabret raised to 11,500 before Guillaume Sosnowski moved all in over the top. Cabret deliberated before making the call.

Cabret: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Sosnowski: {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}

Cabret was in a dominant position and although spiking a set on the {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, Sosnowski had actually improved from two to eight outs to win the pot. The straight arrived on the {3-Diamonds} turn and the river bricked the {9-Hearts} to give Sosnowski the double up to 175,000. Cabret is still in good shape with over 300,000.

Nassif Sends Wang Packing

Wang: busto
Wang: busto
Robert Wang has been eliminated after moving his money into the middle holding {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}, only to find himself in a "Marwan Nassif has the overpair" situation with {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}.

The flop of {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{K-Hearts} just about sealed it for Nassif and he would chip up to 250,000 when the turn and river ran out {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

Kings No Good For Savage - Twice!

Savage: king of bad beats
Savage: king of bad beats
Ben Savage has been eliminated after getting dealt pocket kings twice in a row and twice being beaten.

Savage raised preflop to 7,500 under the gun holding {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}, only to see Marwan Nassif reraise from the button to 22,000. Savage shoved all and and Nassif snap-called, rolling up {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}!

The board of {10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} kept Nassif in the lead the whole way, doubling him up to 140,000 and leaving Savage with just 20,000.

In the very next hand, the action folded around to James Bernard who popped it up to 9,000 from the cutoff. Savage shoved all in from the big blind and Bernard made the call.

Savage: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Bernard: {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}

Savage was in good shape to recuperate those lost chips - that is, until the flop came down {Q-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, giving Bernard "Broadway"!

The turn and river bricked out {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Bernard now moves up to 240,000; Savage won't be wanting to see kings of any kind for a while now.

Talk To You Later, Y'all

According to our sources, Tty Ly is the first poker player we've come across with a name containing no vowels.

He may also be the last after he ran his {A-?}{9-?} into the {A-Clubs}{J-?} of Michael Pedley. The board bricked out {5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}, sending Pedley up to 129,000 and Ly out the rail.

Toothpick Terminated

The Toothpick Says Goodbye
The Toothpick Says Goodbye
In a blogger's nightmare, Manny Stavropoulos has clashed with Antonis 'Toothpick Tony' Kambouroglou in a hand recalled to us by Stavropoulos that led to Toothpick being sent to the rail.

Toothpick raised preflop to 9,500 before Stavropoulos made it 24,000. Toothpick moved all in for around 80,000 and Stavropoulos made the call.

Stavropoulos: {K-?}{J-?}
Toothpick: {A-?}{Q-?}

A king fell on the flop which was enough to end the day for Toothpick as Stavropoulos is now up to a very healthy 230,000.

Duffy Done, Croc Flops Nuts, Khouiss Folds Aces!

Billy "The Croc" Argyros
Billy "The Croc" Argyros
Catching the action on a {7-Spades}{Q-Spades}{K-Spades} flop, Craig Duffy led out for 7,000 before Sam Khouiss raised to 20,000. Billy "The Croc" Argyros flat-called before Duffy went all in for 33,600 in total.

Khouiss decided to get out of the way, and later claimed that he folded {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}, as Crocky immediately called.

Duffy: {J-Spades}{4-Spades}
Crocky: {A-Spades}{6-Spades}

It was flush over flush as the meaningless turn and river landed {J-Diamonds}, {9-Diamonds}. Duffy is done as Crocky chips up to over 180,000 chips.

Neilson Busts Ali G, Aiiiiii?

Ghezelbash: gone
Ghezelbash: gone
All the money was in the middle preflop between Daniel Neilson who held {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} and Ali Ghezelbash with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

Off to the races we went and it would be Ghelzelbash who fell behind after the {Q-Hearts} appeared in the window, followed by the {K-Hearts},{K-Spades}.

Ghezelbash would see his hopes dashed as the turn and river bricked out {4-?},{2-?}; Neilson takes 250,000 in chips over to table 29, where he is now seated next to Bruce Nguyen.
