Jarred Graham Eliminated
Jarred "FlopNutsOnYou" Graham opened to 5,000 before Jason Brown made it 20,000 to go. Graham shoved all in for his last 44,000 and Brown made the call.

Brown: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}

The board fell {8-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Brown's pair holds up to send the Sydney Champs winner to the rail as Brown moves up to over 205,000 chips.

Dunst Not Done Yet

A great start to the day for Dunst
A great start to the day for Dunst
Tony 'bond18' Dunst was towards the bottom of the chip counts at the start of today's session with 32,900, but has eliminated another opponent in a recent hand to move up to 175,000.

Dunst min-raised under the gun preflop to 4,000 before the opponent on the button reraised all in. Dunst made the call.

Dunst: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{4-Clubs}

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{7-Hearts} kept Dunst ahead, but the opponent picked up more outs when the {10-Clubs} appeared on the turn. Needing a non-club queen to chop, the river was a meaningless {J-Diamonds} and Dunst's hand held up, sending the opponent packing.

Jeffreys Takes Thompson Down

AJ running good today!
AJ running good today!
We rushed over to catch the action and saw Joshua Thompson and Andrew 'Adgee' Jeffreys with the money in the middle and turning up their cards:

Thompson: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}
Jeffreys: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

Looking certain for a chopped pot, the flop came down {Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Jeffreys leaned over the table, screaming for a heart.

The dealer promptly turned up the {9-Hearts}, giving Jeffreys the nut flush and they were shaking hands and wishing eachother well by the time the {Q-Diamonds} came on the river to complete the board.

Thompson's day is done; Jeffreys is back up to 168,000 in chips.

Keeton Crippled and Eliminated

Sean Keeton Eliminated

Just before the break Sean Keeton was crippled after clashing with Robert Wang. Keeton's last 48,000 chips were in preflop with {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} as Robert Wang made the call with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

The board bricked out {4-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} to give Wang a full house and the double up to leave Keeton to head to the break with just 2,400.

On the first hand following the break, Keeton was unable to find the double up required and was eliminated.

Scott Kerr Eliminated
Scott Kerr Eliminated
Scott Kerr has been sent to the rail after being caught in the "seat of death" in between Jonathan Karamalikis and Emad Tahtouh.

This time is was Tahtouh doing the damage with his {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} winning the preflop race against Kerr's {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{A-Spades} and the ace from space on the river fell like a dagger through the heart of Kerr to end his day early. Tahtouh is now up to a commanding 185,000 chips.

'FlopNutsOnYou' Got Rivered By 'Stav'

Graham: cut down
Graham: cut down
With the flop reading {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, Manny Stavropoulos opened for 12,000 but Jarred 'FlopNutsOnYou' Graham shoved a stack of yellow 5,000 chips out, enough to put Stavropoulos all in for his last 37,000.

Stavropoulos made the call, turning up {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} but was behind Graham who held two pair with {K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}; Graham would hold onto the lead when the {7-Hearts} came on the turn, but the {10-Hearts} jagged on the river to give Stavropoulos the straight!

Stavropoulos doubles up to 86,000 while Graham falls back to 70,000 as we approach the first break of the day.

Prifti Makes A Soul Read

Prifti: makes a great call!
Prifti: makes a great call!
With the flop reading {J-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, an opponent in early position pushed all in for 67,900, sending Angelo Prifti into the tank.

He was in there for some time, but must have picked up something, because he made an amazing call with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and was ecstatic to find himself of his opponent's {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Needing to avoid any heart, Prifti would chip up to 175,000 and send the opponent to the rail after the turn and river bricked out {5-Spades},{A-Diamonds}.

"Nice call, fish!" shouted one of his supporters from the rail, sending a ripple of laughter around the table.
