From under the gun, Antonio Quarta raised to 800 and picked up three callers on the button, small blind and big blind. On the flop, action folded to Pavel Hybl on the button and he bet 1,500. Dirty Harry and Quarta called before then checking down the turn. After the river, Quarta action checked to Hybl and he won the pot uncontested with a bet of 2,000.
One hand later, Hybl raised to 700 from the cutoff and Dan Purcel in the small blind as well as Quarta in the big bling came along. Again it was checked to the Czech and Hybl bet 1,100, both opponents called. On the turn, Purcel and Quarta checked, Hybl bet 2,500 and just Purcel called.
The river completed the board and Purcel's bet of 10,500 won the pot, as Hybl folded.

Veille was involved in a three-bet hand in a battle small blind versus button and bet the flop for 1,000. The player on the button called and Veille then bet 1,000 on the turn again. His opponent called and did so again for the same amount on the turn. Veille showed as winning hand.
One hand later, Mikhalev raised to 600 from early position and picked up four callers. After the flop, the action checked to him and Mikhalev took down the pot with a continuation bet worth 1,500.

Claudia and Roman Volf made the trip to Rozvadov from Austria to take advantage of the PokerNews Cup festival and are both taking part on Day 1b. While Roman is up so far, Claudia is somewhat struggling with half the starting stack.
She faced a raise to 600 by the hijack and the cutoff and Jimmy in the small blind called, as did Volf in the big blind. The flop came and the action checked to the initial raiser, who bet 1,300. Jimmy and Volf called, then all three checked the turn. After the river, Jimmy bet 2,200 and that won the pot uncontested.

Izzitreallyd was barely done stacking his chips when the dealer announced a second seat open, and once again on his table. A wide grin on the face, Izzitreallyd then said "I flopped a flush and he had a set, it went in after the turn." That brings up his stack to almost three times the initial amount with less than an hour played.
