Two short stacks were all in preflop with Bernard Vu holding {a-Spades}{9-Spades} and at risk against Liang Xu's {j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. The board came {4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Vu found the double-up.

Aymon Hata
Aymon Hata

Aymon Hata and Kahle Burns went to the flop for the minimum after Hata limped the small blind and Burns checked from the big. The dealer swiped {3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} across the table.

Hata checked to Burns who bet 11,500. Hata called and the turn was the {k-Hearts}. Hata checked again and Burns bet again, making it 33,500 this time. Hata made the call.

The river was the {5-Diamonds} and Hata pushed all in. Burns snap-called and then mucked when he saw Hata turn over {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a flush.

Xu Makes Sick Hero Call on Soulier

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Zinan Xu
Zinan Xu

We approached the table as the field was heading on break to see a bet of 89,000 sitting in front of Fabrice Soulier.

Action was on Soulier's heads-up opponent, Zinan Xu. Xu looked down at a {j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} board and roughly 200,000 already in the pot.

After a few moments, Soulier asked for the clock, and once the floor staff arrived, they decided to give Xu and an extra moment as the pot was monstrous. A minute went by and the floor staff began a 60-second countdown.

About half way through, Xu gathered up a call and slapped it down. Soulier tabled {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a busted flush draw and Xu turned over {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, a pair of twos.

Which was good and warranted several wows and praises from spectators who paused to catch the action.

Tianyuan Tang
Tianyuan Tang

After making a big fold on the bubble to save his tournament life, though he'll never know whether his opponent was bluffing or not, Tianyuan Tang has survived into the money and now has been the one eliminating a player, adding to his stack.

Tang and Levan Kolbaia got it all in preflop with Tang's {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} dominating Kolbaia's {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}. The board came {3-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Kolbaia was eliminated from play.
