Schillhabel Wins a Bit

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Stefan Schillhabel
Stefan Schillhabel

Stefan Schillhabel opened the button for 30,000 and big blind Mustapha Kanit called. Kanit check-called 30,000 on {Q-Spades}{A-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and checked again on the {3-Clubs} turn. Schillhabel checked behind and saw his opponent check a third time on the {K-Spades} river. Schillhabel had 4 seconds left when he bet 85,000. Kanit thought about it for a bit, used a time bank, and called. Schillhabel showed {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, Kanit mucked.

Machon Sends Muehloecker to the Rail

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Thomas Muehloecker
Thomas Muehloecker

Bartlomiej Machon called a bet of 50,000 by Daniel Dvoress in the big blind with the completed board showing {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and mucked when Davoress showed {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for trips aces. However, soon he more than made up for that small setback by sending Thomas Muehloecker to the rail.

It was Muehloecker that shoved from under the gun for his last 126,000 and Machon called out of the big blind.

Thomas Muehloecker: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Bartlomiej Machon: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Neither over card hit for the Austrian on a board of {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Muehloecker was sent to the rail.

Daher Busts Luo

Level 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Mustapha Kanit opened under the gun plus one for 26,000 and Albert Daher called from the cutoff. In the small blind, Xiaoyang Luo squeezed all in for what appeared to be 142,000. The big blind and Kanit both folded, Daher called instantly.

Albert Daher: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}
Xiaoyang Luo: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Luo found himself eliminated in 16th place.

Mateos Takes One

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Adrian Mateos was the initial raiser and Albert Daher in the big blind bet the {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop for 22,000, which Mateos called. Both checked the {K-Diamonds} turn and Daher bet the {10-Diamonds} river for what appeared to be 39,000. Mateos called and rolled over {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, which ended up as winning hand.

Thomas Muehloecker and Orpen Kisacikoglu both moved all in for 16 and 18 big blinds respectively without receiving a call. Then, Ole Schemion bet a three-way flop of {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for 13,000 out of the small blind. Bartlomiej Machon called in the big blind and Muehloecker folded from under the gun. On the {6-Spades} turn, Schemion checked and folded when Machon bet 32,000.

Jean-Noel Thorel Eliminated

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel opened the cutoff for 25,000 and saw big blind Bartlomiej Machon shove all in. We're unsure how much Thorel called for exactly, but he did so quickly.

Jean-Noel Thorel: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Bartlomiej Machon: {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {J-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{A-Spades}{5-Spades} and Thorel hit the rail. With his departure, the tournament is down to 16 players and a full redraw is in progress.

Machon Doubles; Luca Doesn't

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Ivan Luca
Ivan Luca

While Ivan Luca was unable to spin up his last three big blinds as soon as the blinds went up, Bartlomiej Machon was more successful in his all in showdown against Thomas Muehloecker. Both went at it in a battle small blind (Muehloecker) versus big blind (Machon), and it was a flip for the Polish player to remain in contention.

Bartlomiej Machon: {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Thomas Muehloecker: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The Austrian flopped well on {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, but the {9-Clubs} turn and {8-Spades} river gave Machon a straight and the double up for 234,000.

Luo Eliminates Kho

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Kitson Kho
Kitson Kho

From early position, Xiaoyang Luo opened for 17,000. Kitson Kho shoved for 57,000 from the cutoff and Luo called.

Xiaoyang Luo: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Kitson Kho: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

Kho flopped top set on {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} but it would not be enough. The {3-Hearts} on the turn did nothing but the {8-Diamonds} on the river gifted Luo the flush and Kho was done for.
