Geilich Busted Immediately

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Just after we took note of his entry in the event, Ludovic Geilich busted out. He found himself in a three-way all in with solid equity on a {9-Clubs}{k-Spades}{4-Spades} flop:

Geilich: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Konstantinos Bouloutsos: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Ilya Bulychev: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Bulychev's two pair held up as it ran out {3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. He doubled through Bouloutsos, who won a small side pot against Geilich.

Two Shoves Go Uncalled

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

On a board of {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, Imad Derwiche led out for 10,000 into three opponents. Only Felipe Ramos, on his immediate left, called. The river was a {3-Spades} and Ramos shoved all in when Derwiche checked. The latter decided to fold.

At another table, Dominykas Karmazinas bet 16,000 on a board of {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} from the cutoff. Ka Kwan Lau moved all in for 28,900 more, and Karmazinas thought a bit before mucking.

Aces Come in Last

Level 6 : 400/800, 0 ante

Three players got all in preflop:

Minh Phuc Nguyen: {j-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Francesco Grande: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{5-Hearts}
[Removed:119]: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{k-Hearts}. Grande made a flush to triple up his short stack. Nguyen also made a flush, doubling his remaining 72,000 through Bensadoun, who was left shaking head.

Players are on break for 15 minutes.

Aces Hold for Nevanlinna Against Two

Level 6 : 400/800, 0 ante

Jussi Nevanlinna put in his last 23,500 on a flop of {7-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and was called in two spots. His opponents checked through the {3-Hearts} and {k-Diamonds}. The first player showed {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}, and Nevanlinna turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for unimproved aces. They were good though, as the third player had just {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a whiffed flush draw.

Wolff Doubles Through Grande

Level 6 : 400/800, 0 ante

George Wolff was all in for 36,400 when we got to his table, over a bet of 16,000 from Francesco Grande. The flop had come {8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. Grande decided to call with {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}, but his two pair trailed the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} held by Wolff, good for top two. The turn was a {2-Clubs} and the river an {8-Clubs}, making Wolff a full house.

At the same table, Minh Phuc Nguyen took a seat in the tourney for the first time.

More for Dayan

Level 6 : 400/800, 0 ante

David Dayan bet 15,000 from the cutoff when Ilya Bulychev checked from the blinds on a board of {5-Hearts}{j-Spades}{k-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Bulychev called, and the river was a {6-Hearts}. Dayan bet 15,000 again and received a quick call. He showed {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for fives full and swept another huge pot up.

Ka Kwan Lau reentered.
