That was Fast for Fast

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Dietrich Fast was standing outside of the tournament area and confirmed his elimination. According to the German, he got it in with pocket sixes against the pocket queens of Ali Reza Fatehi on a {7-}{6-}{2-} flop and Fatehi rivered a queen for the higher set.

Right at the table, that was confirmed as well and Fatehi added "I was only a little bit lucky. It is golden time, when you are running good you have to use it."

Petrangelo Spins 'Em into the Muck

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Scott Margereson came in for a raise in early position and then called a three-bet to 1,600 from Nick Petrangelo. After unknown flop action, the turn made a board of {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, and Margereson check-called 4,800. Both quickly checked on the {9-Spades} river, and Margereson showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for a straight. Petrangelo spun his cards into the muck, sending the pot to Margereson and his backdoor straight.

Straight Flush for a Dub

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Adrian Mateos just got a full double after flopping a straight flush. We didn't see when the money went in, but when we got to the table, a player was sending over what looked to be around 13,000 to go with the money that was already in the pot. Mateos had {k-Spades}{10-Spades} in front of him on a board of {9-Spades}{j-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, and the 2015 EPT Grand Final champ collected the pot to surge past 40,000.

Ensan Doubles Through Segebrecht

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

After a limp and a raise to 1,050, four players called and headed to a flop of {Q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. The action checked to Claas Segebrecht in the cutoff and he bet 1,800, which only Hossein Ensan in the big blind called. The {K-Clubs} turn saw Ensan check-call a bet worth 4,500 and he then checked the {10-Spades} river.

Segebrecht bet 20,000, which was enough to cover Ensan's remaining 12,400, and the latter eventually asked "Can I see your cards if I fold?" Segebrecht nodded and Ensan eventually called, which prompted Segebrecht to say "you win" while turning over {A-Spades}{7-Spades} for a bluff gone wrong. Ensan scooped the pot with {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} and Segebrecht joked "I shouldn't have answered, and you would have folded, right?"

Lin and Markholt Thriving

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the heads-up turn reading {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, Nick Petrangelo bet 1,800 in the small blind and Scott Margereson called on the button. The {K-Diamonds} river brought two checks and Petrangelo showed {K-Spades}{J-Hearts} as winning hand.

One table over, Lee Markholt and [Removed:17] tangled in a bigger pot with around 12,000 already in the middle. Markholt bet the {Q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs} turn for 3,800 once Yan had checked to him and the New Zealander called. The {5-Hearts} river completed the board and Yan checked once more. Markholt bet 7,400 and that was good enough to claim the pot without showdown.

Last but not least, PokerStars Team Pro Celina Lin sat down on the table of Iliodoros Kamatakis and won back-to-back hands to build her stack significantly.

Smith Shows Down Kings

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Dan Smith bet 4,000 in the cutoff against a player in early position on a {10-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop, only to see his opponent raise to 9,000. Smith called, and both players checked the {5-Clubs} and the {a-Clubs}. The early player showed down {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, and Smith turned over {k-}{k-} to take the pot.

Falco Sends Emelyanov Packing

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

With a decent-sized pot already brewing between Roman Emelyanov and Luca Falco, it was the latter who bet 4,000 on a {2-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{K-Spades}{9-Clubs} board. Emelyanov snap-shoved all in for 11,100 and Falco called it off.

Roman Emelyanov: {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Luca Falco: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}

The river was the {8-Hearts} and Emelyanov's run ended after just three levels.

Yachou Bet-Calls Top Pair

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Farid Yachou bet 3,700 in the cutoff on a {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop after two players checked, and the big blind tanked a little over a minute before shoving all in for roughly 15,000. The third player folded, and Yachou snap-called.

Yachou: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Opponent: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Yachou was way ahead, and the board ran out {4-Spades}{q-Clubs} to keep it that way.
