Salter Busts to Speranza

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Jack Salter raised to 10,000 and Shakhabiddin Muradov in the small blind as well as Gianluca Speranza in the big blind called. On the {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, the action checked to Salter and he continued for 13,000. Both opponents called and the {9-Spades} fell on the turn. Again it checked to Salter, who then moved in.

Muradov asked for a count and the shove was for 62,000, to result in a fold. However, Speranza quickly called and the cards were turned over.

Gianluca Speranza: {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Jack Salter: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The {7-Clubs} river was a blank and Salter headed to the payout desk.

Game Over for Munoz

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

A raising war broke out between Gianluca Speranza in the small blind and Ramon Miquel Munoz in the big blind, and the latter ended up all in and at risk for around 150,000 with pocket tens. Speranza had the {J-Spades}{J-Hearts} and the board of {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}{K-Clubs}{A-Hearts} failed to provide any help for the Spaniard.

Other recent casualties included David Urban and Arezki Belaidi, who all claimed the second payout step of €9,540.

Gierse Back to the Start

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Marius Gierse raised to 9,000 and Jerome Brion three-bet to 28,500 from one seat over, which Gierse called. On the {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop, Gierse check-called a bet of 17,500 and did so again for 48,000 on the {3-Diamonds} turn. The {8-Hearts} river went check, check, and Gierse turned over {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} to claim the pot.

The table also features big stacks Dmytro Shuvanov and Diego Vilela.
