Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Hossein Ensan was moved over to the feature table not long ago and just called the shove of Raffaello Locatelli while sitting in the big blind. Locatelli had gotten his 15 big blinds in from the cutoff and had the slightly inferior kicker.

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Narcis-Gabriel Nedelcu shoved for his last 60,000 from early position with the {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} and Stefan Schillhabel called out of the big blind with {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. The board came {J-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{J-Spades}{6-Spades} and the pocket pair held up.

Cosmin Mihai Petrica: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Alexandru Papazian: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

Hakim Takes on Speiser

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Jeff Hakim raised to 10,000 from late position and faced a three-bet to 28,000 from Hannes Speiser in the cutoff, which Hakim then four-bet to 78,000. Speiser reluctantly called and the flop came {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Hakim continued for 55,000, which Speiser called. The {7-Clubs} on the turn was checked through, and the {9-Clubs} river completed the board.

Hakim moved all in for an effective 136,000, as that's what Speiser had left. The Austrian gave it plenty of thought and the clock was called on him. "Do you have kings or aces?" Speiser asked and eventually let go before the one minute ran down.

Zeitoun and Palumbo Out

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Jean-Jacques Zeitoun wasn't able to enjoy the chips from his earlier double-up for long, as he just had to exit the tournament area. Holding {J-Spades}{j-Clubs}, Zeitoun shoved all in on a {Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop. Shakhabiddin Muradov held {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and instantly called to put Zeitoun in a world of hurt.

The {K-Hearts} turn and {3-Diamonds} river didn't help the Frenchman, who will have to settle for a min-cash of €7,580.

In the other part of the tournament area, Rocco Palumbo was seen making his way to the exit as well.

Solid Start for Nardin

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Romain Nardin started the day with less than ten big blinds but found two quick double-ups in succession to get himself to a workable stack.

First, Nardin doubled with {A-}{5-} through Rocco Palumbo's {8-}{8-} when he spiked an ace on the flop. A couple of hands later Nardin was all in with {A-}{J-} against Tsugunari Toma's {K-}{Q-} and held up to double again.
