Back-To-Back Queens Send Eldabach Packing

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

On a {Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, an unknown player checked, Marius Asanache bet 4,000, Dorel Eldabach called, and the third player called as well.

The turn was the {A-Hearts} and after a check, Asanacha bet 6,000. Eldabach snap-shoved 33,500, the third player folded, and Asanacha called directly.

Dorel Eldabach: {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Marius Asanache: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

Eldabach needed a heart to escape but bricked on the {6-Spades} river. The Israeli was left with 1,000, which went in in the next hand. Asanache was there as well and the board ran out {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}.

Eldabach showed {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}, Asanache once again showed up with pocket queens, and with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} he had made a flush and the winner to knock out Eldabach.

La Marca Makes The Wrong Call

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

In a blind battle between Lawrence Bayley and Benito La Marca, the pot was up to around 20,000 with action on Bayley. The Brit shoved all in on a {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} board, putting La Marca to the test for his last 13,000 in chips.

The Italian thought for a while then picked up his stack and put it in the middle in one quick motion.

Bayley showed {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for a full house and the Italian slammed on the table in frustration. His hand was turned over by the dealer, who revealed {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

Georges Yazbeck, number nine on the Lebanese all-time money list with over a million dollars in lifetime winnings, is one of the early chipleaders in this tournament. Yazbeck just took down another pot to move up to 85,000.

Alexandru Gavrilut had raised to 1,000 and got a call to his direct left. Yazbeck made it 3,000 on the button and Gavrilut was the only caller, leaving himself with just 7,200 behind.

Both players checked the {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop. Gavrilut checked the {2-Hearts} turn and folded to a 2,500 bet from Yazbeck.
