Gary McGinty Flexes His Muscles

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Patrick Rooney raised to 45,000 from under the gun and it folded to Gary McGinty on the button who three-bet all in. The blinds quickly folded.

With the action back on Rooney, he muttered something like: "You can only do that with Tens or Jacks," before open-folding {a-Spades}{q-Spades}.

McGinty showed {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and Rooney seemed pleased with his fold.

Michael O'Sullivan opened and Edgar Fic called.

The flop was {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Fic moved all in and O'Sullivan called.

Fic liked the flop with his {a-Spades}{8-Hearts} but liked O'Sullivan’s {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} hand less.

Pot For Worley-Roberts As O'Callaghan Dodges Flush

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Andrew Earle opened from under the gun for 24,000 and got a call from Deborah Worley-Roberts on the button and James Patrick O'Callaghan in the big blind.

The flop came {6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and all three checked. The turn card was the {3-Spades} and James Patrick O'Callaghan led for 43,000. That got a fold from Earle but Worley-Roberts called.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and they both checked.

Worley-Roberts showed {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} which prompted O'Callaghan to say, Just as well it didn’t come. I got lucky.”

Sam Dorrestein Eliminated

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Sam Dorrestein moved all in and Florian Duta called, putting Dorrestein at risk.

Sam Dorrestein: {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Florian Duta: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Spades} giving Duta a flush, but his pair of sixes was already good enough sending Dorrestein to the exit.

Gary McGinty
Gary McGinty

Coming back from dinner break Gary McGinty was the chip leader with 1,150,000 and we went to check up on him and see whether he was well rested from his dinner break.

Daniel Ulvrell opened from the hijack and Sacha Lebreton flat-called in the cutoff. Virgilio Dicicco also called on the button before McGinty three-bet from the big blind to 105,000. Lebreton was the only caller.

The flop came {4-Spades}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs} and McGinty continued for 79,000. Lebreton raised to 158,000. McGinty moved all in and Lebreton eventually folded.

McGinty showed {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} while raking in the pot, meaning he moves up to just under 1,500,000.
