Rundström Doubles Through Pauls

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Ulrich Pauls raised to 150,000 from the hijack to be met by a shove by Bo Rundström on the button. Pauls asked how much it was for. Rundström said it was 555,000. Pauls counted out calling chips and put them in front of him but not over the line yet. After a few seconds he threw one chip over the line to indicate a call.

Ulrich Pauls: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} - Pauls had an open-ended straight draw on the turn but the river didn't pose any danger for Rundström as he doubled up.

Lubas and Pauls Take from Sigel

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Michal Lubas raised to 140,000 and Jan Sigel in the big blind announced call, but the dealer instead said "all in." Lubas was ready to muck while Sigel quickly said he had just called and then put in the extra chips. On the {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop, Sigel checked and Lubas bet 110,000.

Both checked down the {J-Clubs} turn and the {3-Spades} river and Sigel showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. Lubas had that beat with {J-Hearts}{9-Spades} and raked in the pot while Sigel shook his head.

Ulrich Pauls raised to 150,000 and Sigel called to see a flop of {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Pauls continued for 225,000 and Sigel called, while the {Q-Hearts} turn was quickly checked through. Pauls also checked the {8-Clubs} river and took off his sunglasses to look at Sigel. What followed was a check behind by Sigel and Pauls rolled over {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} as winning hand.
