Schneiders Surges

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Felix Schneiders
Felix Schneiders

PokerStars Team Pro Online Felix Schneiders has a much bigger stack in front of him than what he started with today.

"I had ace-jack and my opponent had ace-queen. He opened from mid-position and I shoved for about 18 or 20 big blinds. He called. The flop was nine-six-six. I turned the jack and the river was the king. I am playing about 110,000 now."

The hand after he raised to 6,500 from the under-the-gun position. Action folded to Joseph Lalor in the big blind. Lalor called. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, Lalor check-folded to the 3,500 bet of Schneiders.

Seat Open for Tuelek

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Murat Tuelek
Murat Tuelek

"Grinding It Up" Twitch streamer Murat Tuelek has been eliminated after a clash with Vedran Mandic in the big blind. Besides Mandic, a third player had called Tuelek's raise and the flop fell {J-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Mandic checked and was the only player to call a bet worth 9,000 by Tuelek.

On the {10-Diamonds} turn, Mandic check-raised from 15,000 to 30,000 and quickly called the shove of Tuelek with the {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}. While Tuelek was ahead on the flop, his {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} was already drawing dead, making the {J-Diamonds} on the river bitter sweet but meaningless.

Schmidt Busts to [Removed:72]

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Joining the action on the three-way flop of {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Andrey Andreev checked in the big blind and Thomas [Removed:72] bet 12,500 in early position. Bennet Schmidt on the button min-raised to 25,000 with 42,200 behind and Andreev folded.

[Removed:72] motioned to see the stack of Schmidt before moving all in and the latter called it off after brief consideration.

Bennet Schmidt: {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Thomas [Removed:72]: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

The {6-Hearts} river was a blank and that was it for Schmidt. [Removed:65], the son of Thomas, is also still in contention as well.

PokerStars Festival Hamburg: Good first level for Team Pro

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Marcin Horecki
Marcin Horecki

The red spade is represented on two fronts here at PokerStars Festival Hamburg this week, one from Team Online and one from Team Pro. Both made it through to Day 2 today but in trouble as each of them came back with fewer chips than they started with on Day 1.

PokerStars Team Pro Online Felix Schneiders - 22,100 (9bb)
PokerStars Team Pro Marcin Horecki - 26,800 (11bb)

Having a good first level was important for both players, and we're happy to report that's exactly what happened. By the time the tournament ticked over into the second level of the day, the two of them were sat behind six figure stacks.

Dizdarevic Triples Up

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Adnan Dizdarevic was all in from the cutoff for less than a big blind, 2,700. Alexander Thran completed from the small blind and Roberto Manfredi checked from the big blind.

They both checked through the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} board. Thran showed {5-Spades}{4-Spades}, Manfredi showed {6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} but Dizdarevic had them both beat with the {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} in his hand for the triple up.

Köster Above Half a Million

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Rudolf Köster seems unstoppable early on Day 2 and has further boosted his stack.

Hael Al-Labani raised to 6,500 and Köster three-bet to 15,300, which Al-Labani called. On the {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, Al-Labani checked and called a bet of 17,000 before doing so again for 42,000 on the {10-Hearts} turn. The {5-Hearts} fell on the river and Köster fired 63,500, which eventually forced a fold from Al-Labani.

Tobias Schmidt moved all in for 33,100 and Rafal Adamkiewicz on the button asked for the count before moving all in himself over the top. Ali Sameeian in the small blind announced all in as well with the superior stack and the three players tabled their cards:

Tobias Schmidt: {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Rafal Adamkiewicz: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Ali Sameeian: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The board came {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Adamkiewicz paired his ace on the turn to double for 122,600.
