Sergey Malyavko Under the Gun

Level 4 : 150/300, 50 ante

Sergey Malyavko looks like he is settling in for what he no doubts hopes is a long day of poker. A table of drinks nicely positioned to his side and a poker masseuse working out the kinks so he can focus on playing poker, and he does seem to be involved in a lot of pots early on.

Malyavko opened for 825 from under the gun and got a call from Chulpan Garaev, who likes to see a flop himself, and the two players in the blinds.

The flop was {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

Action was checked to Malyavko who continuation bet for 2,100. There were no callers so Malyavko collected the chips before showing {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for top top.

Konstantin Buranov Closes in on 100,000

With the board reading {k-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and the pot already approaching 7,000, Konstantin Buranov bet 3,500 and his opponent Evgeniy Myakin threw in a single chip to call.

Buranov turned over {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for bottom pair turned into a flush. Myakin showed the {k-Spades} and counted out the bet.

Buranov was already well over 80,000 before the hand, and now is one of a select few knocking on the door of 100,000.

Aces and a Double Up for Rifat Kuzakhmedov

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Andrey Denisyev was all in on the river of a board reading {2-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} but his cards were in the muck and most of his stack was heading over to Rifat Kuzakhmedov who had the winning {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} in front of him.

Denisyev is still in but with a much reduced stack and a look of disappointment that will take a few pots to rectify.
