Trevillian vs Ili

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

With about 4,000 chips already in the middle and the completed board reading {Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, Jose Ili bet 1,550 from the hijack into his lone opponent, Brett Trevillian, who was on the button. After a bit of thought, Trevillian folded.

"I had {7-}{2-}," he said as he tossed his cards into the muck and Ili took the chips.

Excessive Force From Trevillian

Level 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Brett Trevillian is already on his third bullet for the Main Event, but perhaps now he's finally found some of that much-needed traction that he's been looking for.

In a recent hand he opened with a raise to 1,100 and found calls from one player to his left, and Dragana Stankovic in the big blind.

The flop was {K-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Spades} and Stankovic checked to Trevillian. He put out a bet of 3,000 which only Stankovic called.

On the {2-Clubs} turn, Stankovic decided to seize the betting lead and put out a bet of 3,000. Trevillian thought for a moment before plopping out a stack of blue T5,000 chips, worth 30,000, enough to put Stankovic all in. She thought for about a minute before releasing her hand and Trevillian was able to take down the pot.

Marquine Shoves and Wins

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

With about 4,500 chips already in the middle and the completed board reading {10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, Juan Marquine was in the hijack and facing a decision for 3,025 from the player in the big blind. He shoved for what looked like about 11,000, sending his opponent into the tank. Eventually, he folded and Marquine took the pot.

Marquine Kisses His Chips Goodbye

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

With 11,000 already in the pot Juan Marquine checked over to his one opponent on a board of {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. The player bet 3,800 and Marquine called.

The river came the {5-Clubs} and Marquine checked again. This time his opponent bet 10,000. Marquine thought for a long time, nearly three minutes ticked off the clock, but eventually he decided to call. His opponent showed him {K-Spades}{K-Clubs} and it was good as Marquine pushed his chips away and mucked his hand.

With that, Marquine was left with just about 7,500 chips.

Hajjar Doubles Through Gabrenja

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

With about 5,000 chips already in the middle on a flop of {K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{6-Clubs} Matias Gabrenja was in middle position and bet 2,100 into his lone opponent, Georges Hajjar in the hijack. Hajjar shoved for 15,850, sending Gabrenja into the tank. Ultimately, he called to put Hajjar at risk and both players tabled their hands.

Gabrenja: {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Hajjar: {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}

Hajjar was way ahead with his flopped top two pair and Gabrenja needed a lot of help from the deck in order to win the pot. The {2-Clubs} turn and {8-Spades} river changed nothing and Hajjar took the pot to double up.

Gabrenja Shows The Coconuts

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

We caught up to the action on a board of {2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{5-Spades} with already 10,000 in the pot. Matias Gabrenja was facing a bet of 2,500 from the player to his right. Gabrenja thought about it for about a minute before calling the bet.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Gabrenja's opponent checked. Gabrenja thought about it for roughly three minutes before finally putting out a bet of 8,500. The player folded relatively quickly. Gabrenja looked as if he was going to muck his hand, but then decided to turn it over revelaing {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a rivered straight flush. Some of the members of the table laughed as Gabrenja smiled and scooped the pot.
