"Good Bet" from Howe

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Dan Howe was in early position and bet 16,000 into a pot of about 25,000 on a {7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop. Jesse Elliott called on the button and the two saw a {j-Diamonds}, which checked through. Howe blasted out a big bet of about 90,000 on the {4-Spades}.

"Good bet," Elliott said with a sigh, mucking his hand.

Mason and Affleck Go to War

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Matt Affleck opened on the button to 7,500 and got three-bet to 22,500 by Craig Mason in the big blind. Affleck cut out a raise to 57,500, and action moved back to Mason. He put in a tower of blue T5,000 chips and Affleck quickly mucked.

Asher Conniff Eliminated on Bubble

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Asher Conniff
Asher Conniff

Asher Conniff moved all in from the button for 12,200. Randy Lew was tanking in the big blind when we arrived.

"That must be a good hand," Lew said.

"These cards are... not bad," Conniff confirmed.

"I don't even know the math," Lew said with a smile. "I'm tempted to just throw it in and hope."

In the end, that's what he decided to do.

Conniff: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Lew: {k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

Conniff was ahead, but the {3-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop was devastating for his hand, leaving him in dire need of an ace. The {2-Diamonds} turn and {5-Hearts} river were bricks, and Conniff was the final player eliminated to get nothing.
