Cohen Runs Into All the Queens

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Nathan Cohen moved all in from under the gun with a short stack of 55,000. Javier Rodriguez Gonzalez flat called in the next seat and action folded around to Michael Rosaman in the big blind, who three-bet to 150,000. Gonzalez then moved all in and Rosaman called with the biggest stack. Players flipped their cards.

Nathan Cohen: A7 All in
Javier Rodriguez Gonzalez: QQ All in
Michael Rosaman: QQ

"We're drawing dead, right?", joked Rosaman to Gonzalez.

The board ran out J8687 and Cohen failed to improve. Rosaman and Gonzalez chopped up his stack and Cohen headed to the exit.

Hallaert Shows River Bluff

Level 19 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Kenny Hallaert
Kenny Hallaert

Action was on the turn on a board of 2376 and Kenny Hallaert led with a bet of 75,000. Bogdan-Alexandru Ionescu made the call.

The river came the Q and Hallaert took a moment before announcing that he was "all in" with Ionescu covered for 240,000 effective. Ionescu went deep into the tank.

"I want to call you with ace-eight," said Ionescu.

"All good," replied Hallaert.

Ionescu eventually mucked his hand and Hallaert couldn't help but table A5 for a bluff with a gutshot. If Ionescu did indeed have ace-eight, he would have been ahead. As it happened, Hallaert scooped in a large pot.
