Slater Wins Pot With Two Pair

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Nathan Slater open-raised to 4,500 from under the gun, Timothy Chung called in middle position and the big blind came along.

The flop came 61010 and Slater made a continuation bet for 4,000. Chung then raised to 14,000, the big blind folded and Slater called.

On the Q turn, Slater checked and Chung bet 21,000, which Slater called. Both players then checked to showdown on the 3 river. Slater showed 77 for two pair, tens and sevens, which was enough to win the pot as Chung mucked his hand.

Burcher Makes Set

Niall Farrell open-raised to 3,000 and Carl Burcher moved all in for 22,000 from the cutoff. Mohuddin Chhabu called all in for 11,500 from the small blind and Farrell got the counts before opting to fold.

"At least I won't have to be curious," said Farrell as he mucked, knowing he'll get to see his opponent's cards.

David Docherty open-raised for 3,000 from late position, Marc Fuses called on the button, and Mark Earl called in the small blind.

The flop ran out 3J4 and Earl led out for 7,000. Docherty folded and Bons called. The turn was the 5 and Earl led again, this time for 11,000, which Fuses called.

On the K river, Earl pushed all in for his remaining 15,000. Fuses mucked his hand and Earl scooped in the pot.

Wan Hits the Exit

Jiawei Wan was all in preflop against Daniyaal Hussain, who had him well covered as players flipped their cards.

Action was on the flop on a board of A93 and chips were piling in the middle to the total of around 100,000 by the time the Q turn was dealt. Mateusz Moolhuizen then checked and Ming Ju checked behind from the button.

The river came the 9 and Moolhuizen checked again. Ju checked back to showdown and had QxJx for a pair of queens. Moolhuizen had AA for a full house and had attempted to lay the trap by checking, but Ju didn't take the bait.

Tang Wins Three-Bet Pot

Mitchell Johnson raised to 3,000 from early position, Wantao Tang three-bet to 7,500 from middle position and Johnson called.

The flop came J92 and Johnson checked, prompting Tang to continue for 5,500. Johnson called to see the 10 turn and both players checked. The river was the 9 and both players checked again to showdown.

Johnson showed AK and Tang flipped over QJ to win the pot with a pair of jacks.
