Fernandez Fills Up

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

Platinum Pass winner Sandro Fernandez raised from under the gun and was called by Barrett Lipkin in the cutoff to see the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop.

Fernandez continued for 1,300 and Lipkin made the call to the {5-Clubs} turn, with the action repeating after a bet of 5,200 to the {6-Spades} river.

Fernandez slid in a bet of 26,000 chips and Lipkin took some time to reach a decision. Lipkin eventually made the call, asking "set of nines?".

Papazian Third to Bust in Massive Cooler

Level 2 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Alexandru Papazian
Alexandru Papazian

Alexandru Papazian and PokerStars Platinum Pass Winner Hugo Rodilla were involved in a heads-up pot and faced a board of {j-Spades}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Papazian was first to act from the small blind and he bet out 7,400 into the pot of 10,000.

Rodilla made the call from under the gun and the two went to the river {5-Clubs}. Papazian fired again for 18,200, which left him with a 25,000 chip behind.

After a few moments, Rodilla then moved all in, covering Papazian, and now he was the one under pressure.

Papazian just chuckled to himself, checked his cards once more, and shook his head as he threw in his last chip. He then flipped over {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for a full house, jacks full of fives, but then Rodilla tabled his hand of {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for an even bigger full house to win the pot.

The table collectively groaned as they saw what a beat that was, and Papazian was sent to the rail, the third thus far.
