Won for the Win

Action folded to George Won in middle position who opened to 1,500. The cutoff called and the big blind also came along.

The A♣A♦5♥ flop landed and action surprisingly checked through to a 9♣ turn.

The big blind checked and Won put out a bet of 1,000. The cutoff then raised to 2,700. The big blind got out of the way and Won put in the rest of the chips for a call.

The river landed a 7♣ and action checked to the cutoff who continued for 3,200. Won went into the tank for about a minute and then flicked in a chip for the call.

The cutoff immediately mucked and Won scooped the pot without even going to showdown.
