Bregger Chips Up

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jason Bregger opened to 2,700 from middle position and was called by a player on the button as well as the big blind.

The big blind checked to Bregger on a flop of {4-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} and he continued for 2,600. Both of his opponents called to send action three-way to the turn.

The {5-Hearts} turn saw the big blind check for a second time and Bregger, unwilling to slow down despite being up against two opponents, fired off 5,500. That was enough to shed the big blind but the button player was not going anywhere just yet and made the call.

Bregger bet once again on the {5-Clubs} river, making it 12,500 to call. That final bet did get his opponent off of his hand to send the pot Bregger's direction.

Roof Takes One Down

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A player opened to 2,500 from early position and was called by Marshall Roof out of the small blind.

Roof checked on the {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop and then called when his opponent continued for 3,000.

Both players checked through the {9-Spades} turn to the {7-Hearts} river at which point Roof took over the betting lead, pushing a hefty 17,000 into the middle. His opponent did not appear thrilled with the situation and eventually folded. 'Good fold' remarked Roof as he showed the table the {10-Spades}.

Aggression Pays Off For Einsidler

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

A player opened to 2,000 from middle position and was called by a player in late position as well as the cutoff. Izzy Einsidler then three-bet to 11,000 on the button, eliciting a fold from the original raiser while receiving calls from the late position player as well as the cutoff.

Action checked to Einsidler following the {4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop and he continued for 40,000, enough to force both of his opponents out of the hand and send a decent pile of chips in his direction.

Mitich Takes From Martin

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Jacob Mitich opened to 1,500 from early position and was called by Mark Martin in middle position as well as a player on the button.

Mitich continued for 2,000 on a flop of {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} and was called by Martin while the button folded.

The {q-Diamonds} turn saw Mitich slow down, checking to Martin who fired off 2,000. That did not dissuade Mitich who made the call.

Both players checked following the {j-Spades} river and Mitich showed down {a-}{4-}, ousting Martin's {3-Hearts}{3-Spades} to rake in a small pot.
