Wes Cutshall
Wes Cutshall

The player in the cutoff raised to 700 after which Oskar Sandberg called from the button, before the action got to Wes Cutshall in the big blind.

Cutshall moved all in for precisely 8,000 chips and the initial raiser called. Sandberg went into the tank for a while before folding, and the showdown went as following.

Cutshall: {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and a loud roar erupted as Cutshall completed his flush on the turn.

Apostol Gives One Up

Level 4 : 100/200, 50 ante

The player under the gun raised to 725 and three players called, Christopher Lachawicz in the cutoff, Tyson Apostol in the small blind and Vincent Gregory in the big blind.

The flop brought out {4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Apostol lead out from the small blind for 2,000 and both Gregory and the initial raiser folded, after which Lachawicz raised to 4,500.

Apostol tanked for quite some time before calling and on the turn, when the {2-Diamonds} hit, he lead out for another 2,000. Lachawicz wasn't having it, as he quickly raised to 10,000 and Apostol tanked before folding and leaving himself with 21,000.

Break

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

The players in the 2015 Run It Up Reno $565 Main Event are on their first break of Day 1a.

Perez's Ace High Busts Capps

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

Juan Perez just limped for 200, but later admitted that he actually meant to raise, after which Jesse Capps raised to 700.

"I knew exactly what he had," Capps said after the hand, "Well, not the suits, but I knew for sure he had ace-king."

When the action got back to Perez he opted to three-bet to 1,500 and Capps called.

The flop brought out {6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Perez checked to Capps who bet 1,000. Perez opted for a check-raise to 2,500 and Capps opted to shove for an additional 7,500.

Perez went into the tank for quite a while before he eventually made the call.

"You have ace-king, I know you have ace-king," Capps said before Perez turned over his cards.

Perez: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Capps: {A-Spades}{4-Clubs}

"I knew it, I knew it," Capps sighed, as the board ran out {A-Diamonds}, {2-Diamonds}.

Capps was knocked out and he said he'll re-enter after the upcoming break.

O'Donnell Picks Off a Swift Bluff

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

From middle position, Trey McCray raised to 600. Kevin O'Donnell called on the button, the player in the small blind called, and Deb Swift called out of the big blind.

The flop came down {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades}, and action checked around to see the {4-Clubs} land on the turn. After the first player checked, Swift bet 800. McCray folded, O'Donnell called, and the player in the small blind folded.

The river was the {10-Diamonds}, and Swift led out with a bet of 1,700. O'Donnell studied and then called.

Swift showed the {J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for a bluff, and it was O'Donnell's {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} that took down the pot.
