Jim Petzing Nabs Chris Moneymaker's Bounty

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Chris Moneymaker ripped his last 9,000 in from the lojack, and Jim Petzing looked down at his cards in the big blind before saying, "Let's gamble!" and calling.

Moneymaker: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Petzing: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

Petzing found a pair and a gutshot on the {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop, and the {j-Diamonds} turn gave Petzing two pair, leaving Moneymaker searching for an eight for the win or a king for a chop. The {6-Diamonds} river provided neither, and Petzing secured a $500 bounty for eliminating Moneymaker.

Barrett's Queens Net a Double

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

A player raised to 1,100 from the hijack, and Kody Barrett three-bet to 3,800 from the small blind. The hijack four-bet jammed for Barrett's last 15,100 and Barrett called.

Barrett: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Barrett survived the {k-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop, but his opponent said, "How 'bout a deuce?" after the {3-Clubs} turn gave the hijack a wheel draw in addition to his ace for outs. The {k-Hearts} river bricked off, and Barrett's queens held for the double.

Moneymaker Gets Surpised By A River Move

Level 3 : 100/300, 300 ante

2003 WSOP Main Event champ Chris Moneymaker raised to 800 from the cutoff, and was called by Andrew Lok, as well as former Survivor champ Tyson Apostol in the big blind.

Action checked to Moneymaker on a {4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{q-Spades} flop, and he bet 1,100. Only Lok called.

Both players checked the {2-Diamonds} turn, and Lok checked the {a-Diamonds} river. Moneymaker announced a bet of 4,000, leaving himself just 3,000 behind, and Lok thought for a moment before jamming all in.

"Ahhhh! What did you do?" Moneymaker said as soon as Lok completed pushing his stack in the middle.

"Googly-mooglies, what?" Moneymaker shook his head, then asked, "Show me if I fold? Ace-nine? I was value betting!"

Moneymaker eventually tossed the {a-Clubs} face up before folding, and Lok turned over {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a bluff.

"I hate you," Moneymaker said with a wry grin as Lok drug in the pot.
