Wells Gets There on the River to Bust Old Mouse

Billy Davila raised to 8,000 under the gun and Weston Wells called in middle position. Roger Old Mouse then three-bet to 25,000 in the cutoff and Bobby Cobb called on the button, as did Davila and Wells.

The flop came 9♦4♠7♥ and Old Mouse continued for 25,000. Only Wells called to the 3♣ turn, where Old Mouse bet another 50,000. Wells again called.

The river was the A♣ and Wells moved all in. Old Mouse snap-called and turned over A♠Q♦ for top pair, but Wells had rivered a straight with 5♦2♦ to win the massive pot.

The stacks were counted down and Wells' 150,500 had Old Mouse barely covered, earning Wells the knockout.

Heads-up on a flop of J♥5♥10♣, Santi Poggi moved all in for 50,000 from the cutoff and Jeff Bowen snap-called in early position.

Bowen had flopped top set, but he needed to hold on as Poggi had straight and flush draws. The 9♦ turn was no help to Poggi, while he missed the K♠ river and Bowen scored the knockout.

"This f**ker never loses. I mean, Mr. F**ker," tablemate Rick Hass said to Bowen.

Jeff Heiberg limped in from the small blind before Penn Swindle raised to 12,000 in the big blind. Heiberg called, and they saw a flop of K♥6♠J♦.

Swindle then continued for 8,000 and Heiberg called. The turn was the 10♥ and Heiberg led out for 18,000. Swindle called, and the Q♠ fell on the river.

Heiberg then bet another 22,000, and Swindle this time moved all in. Heiberg quickly folded.

Gil Roden raised to 30,000 in the cutoff and Alan Strouf called in the small blind. Strouf went to turn his cards over before the dealer reminded him Roden still had one 500 chip behind. They then got in Roden's last chip on the J♣10♣2♣ flop.
