Lee Sits, Chops

Level 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

Sponsored pro Bernard Lee took a seat at one of the tables, and he already got involved in an exciting pot with an anticlimactic ending. He bet 375 from the cutoff on a board of {9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, and his opponent on the button made it 1,350. Lee came back with 2,150, and he saw another raise to 4,500 from his foe.

"Alright, I call," Lee said. "You have jack-ten?"

Instead, he was shown {10-}{9-} for the nuts on the flop. Lee turned over an identical hand.

"Wow," Lee said. "I'm actually more shocked that you have that."

RunGoodGear.com Hard Rock Tulsa Main Event
RunGoodGear.com Hard Rock Tulsa Main Event

After a successful inaugural event in March, the RunGoodGear.com poker series has returned for a second go, this time at Hard Rock Tulsa here in Oklahoma.

The main event is a $675 buy in, and cards are set to fly at noon local time. Players have yet to arrive, but when they do, they'll be seated at some tables featuring a rainbow of different-colored felts. The event allows unlimited reentries until the dinner break, which comes at the end of Level 9. Levels will vary in length, beginning at 30 minutes and progressing to 40 minutes at Level 7 and 50 minutes at Level 13.

Some well-known players will be in attendance, including sponsored tour pros such as Bryan Campanello, Jamie Kerstetter, and AP Phahurat. We'll keep an eye on them and everyone else as we bring you all of the relevant live updates here on PokerNews.
