Wahlert on Fire

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante
Joel Wahlert
Joel Wahlert

Joel Wahlert was in a big pot with Mike Vanier on a {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} board and he bet 9,000 on the river. Vanier quickly called, and Wahlert showed {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a backdoor flush.

A bit later, Wahlert bet 5,000 on a {4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} board from the button, and his opponent in the hijack shoved for 4,225 more. Wahlert called with {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and had a lot of outs to fade as his opponent held {q-Spades}{9-Spades}. The board ran out {6-Diamonds} and {7-Clubs} though, and Wahlert has quickly amassed a big stack.

At that same table, Drew Woodke has taken a seat.

One for Perry

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Four players saw a {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} flop, and the big blind bet out 300. Everyone called, bringing a {3-Spades} turn. This time, everyone checked. On the {q-Clubs} river, the big blind bet 1,600. Colin Perry, who was under the gun, raised to 5,600. The player on the button and the small blind folded, and the big blind quickly followed them into the muck.

Banghart Gets Three Streets

Level 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

From early position, Jeff Banghart bet 200 against a couple of opponents on a {5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop, and only the player on the button called. The dealer burned and turned a {q-Diamonds}.

"Let me check if I have a diamond," Banghart said, peeking at his cards. "As a matter of fact, I do."

He bet 600 and his opponent again called. Banghart fired 1,100 on the {2-Diamonds} river and his opponent called again. Banghart flicked {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} into the middle and his opponent mucked.

"Did I suck out or did I have you the whole way?" Banghart asked.

"You had me the whole way."

Batenhorst Coolers Opponent in Blind Battle

Level 1 : 25/50, 0 ante

The pot was already bloated on the turn when the small blind and big blind Travis Batenhorst each put in 3,000 on a {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Hearts} board. The small blind bet 6,000 on the {4-Clubs} river, and Batenhorst said he was all in. The small blind sighed and called, and Batenhorst flipped {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for queens full. The small blind mucked {a-}{10-} face-up in disgust and he sent 14,200 to his left, nearly his whole stack.
