Dinsmore Doubles

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Adam Dinsmore shoved from the button for 9,300 on an {8-Clubs}{a-Spades}{j-Clubs} flop, and the player who bet 2,500 in the hijack called.

Dinsmore: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Hijack: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Dinsmore had his opponent crushed and the {5-Spades} turn ended it.

At another table, Jose Montes is up to about 33,000 after surviving a flip for his tournament life.

Meyer Chops Down Grizzle

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

Sam Grizzle was under the gun and he and small blind Shawn Meyer each put 3,100 in on a {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. Meyer checked the {k-Diamonds} turn and called 6,200 from Grizzle. It was check-check on the {7-Clubs} river, and Meyer tabled {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. Grizzle couldn't beat it.

Grizzle has more than $1.2 million in tournament cashes and is perhaps most well-known for sparring with Phil Hellmuth on early World Series of Poker broadcasts.

Mike Vanier opened to 750 in the cutoff and Matt Sztamburski three-bet to 3,400 in the big blind. Vanier jammed for about 9,000, and Sztamburski called.

Sztamburski: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Vanier: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The {q-Spades}{a-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} run out was clean for Sztamburski and he collected the pot at Vanier's expense.

Players are on break for 10 minutes.

Phan Thanks Bryan

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

On a board reading {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades}, the small blind bet 900 and got raised to 2,000 by Jeff Bryan, who was in middle position. Ryan Phan cold-called on his left, and the small blind called as well. On the {6-Hearts} river, the small blind fired 5,000, and Bryan quickly folded. Phan, though, moved all in for 13,525. The small blind called.

Phan showed {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for jacks full, and the small blind mucked the {5-Hearts} face-up.

After raking in the pot, Phan thanked Bryan for building the pot on the turn.

"Didn't You Pay Attention in the Seminar?"

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Mike Lang opened to 650 under the gun and got three callers before Darren Attebery shoved all in for 10,450 in the small blind. Lang thought briefly and folded, but the initial caller put in the required amount and everyone else folded.

"Didn't you pay attention in the seminar?" Attebery joked. "I needed you to learn how to fold."

Attebery: {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}

Attebery was behind but picked up some outs as {6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Hearts} flopped. A {7-Hearts} turn left him with a lock winner as he hit the nut straight and he rivered a flush when the {q-Hearts} hit.
