Andre Allen Eliminated in 8th Place ($5,400)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Andre Allen
Andre Allen

Andre Allen shoved for his last 40,000 or so on the button after Tom Leto limped in the cutoff. Leto called with {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and was dominating Allen's {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{a-Hearts}, and Allen had straight and flush outs. Bricks fell on the last two streets though, sending him to a second eighth-place RunGood placing.

Houston Doubles Through Fish

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Thomas Houston shoved in around 160,000 in the big blind and Brandon Fish, who came in raising on the button, called.

Houston: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Fish: {a-}{q-}

Fish cursed after the {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} gave Houston a straight draw. It got there right away with {9-Clubs} on the turn.

Fish Doubles Through Licking

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Brandon Fish shoved early for 176,000 and Russell Licking called in the small blind with {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Fish had {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and was dismayed to see a four in the window as {4-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades} flopped. A {9-Diamonds} turn was a brick but Fish yelled in celebration when a {k-Clubs} hit the river.

Justin Gardenhire Eliminated in 9th Place ($4,464)

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Justin Gardenhire
Justin Gardenhire

On a board of {3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, Justin Gardenhire bet 30,000 out of the big blind and Russell Licking, who had opened preflop, called in middle position. The river brought a {k-Spades} and Gardenhire fired again for 70,000.

"Really?" Licking asked after double-checking his cards. He moved all in.

Gardenhire seemed distressed about this development and stood up, saying he didn't see himself folding.

"Ace-five or flopped a set," he wondered aloud about hands Licking could have. He shoved in a stack to indicate he was calling his last 90,000. Licking flashed him {a-Spades}{5-Clubs} and the RunGood Pro mucked.

Jasen Currie opened under the gun to 25,000. Thomas Houston shoved in 217,000 from the small blind. Currie got a count and mucked {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} face-up. Houston showed {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

"I didn't want to race," Currie said.
