After a layoff during the World Series of Poker, the RunGood Poker Series is back on the road for another set of events, its "End of Summer" series. The first of those Main Events kicks off in a matter of minutes at Horseshoe Council Bluffs, and it features a special $1,100 buy-in that is the first of its kind for RunGood. The guarantee for the prize pool remains at $100,000.
The new, longer structure features 40-minute levels throughout the tournament and 15 levels of Day 1 action. The starting stack will be 20,000 and the blinds begin at 50/100, progressing to 1,500/3,000/500 by day's end. As usual, the starting days feature unlimited reentry, this time for the first nine levels plus breaks. One other change to the structure is a 45-minute dinner break has been added after Level 9.
RunGood is well known for its extensive stable of Pros, and a number of them will be in attendance for the event, including Michael Sanders, Justin Gardenhire, and Ray Henson.
Cards begin flying at noon local time, so stay tuned here on PokerNews for all of the live coverage.
