Nammari Shoves the Flop

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Gerald Kelly opened the action with a raise to 4,000 from early position and received calls from Terry Karn on his direct left in middle position and Mo Nammari, who was on the button. The three saw a flop of {3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Kelly made a continuation-bet of 6,000. Karn quickly folded.

Action was then on Nammari, who thought for about 35 seconds before announcing he was all in. Kelly asked for a count, which was totaled to be 32,500, and went into the tank for close to a minute before letting his hand go, resulting in a won pot on the flop for Nammari and a significant increase of his stack to go with it.

"That's Some Sexy S**t Right There!"

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Jeff Kester recently tripled up, igniting some energy around the table as several players were still discussing the hand and eager to share more. Kester shoved all in from under the gun for around 13,000 and saw Chris Collins come over the top of him from two to his left for about 40,000. Action folded around to the small blind, where Kevin Koch called and the three turned up their hands.

Jeff Kester: {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Chris Collins: {k-}{k-}
Kevin Koch: {q-}{q-}

The board ran out {x-}{x-}{x-Diamonds}{x-Diamonds}{x-Diamonds}, giving Kester backdoor diamonds to hit a flush and score the triple. He added some commentary as he relived the hand: "That's some sexy shit right there!"

The lore spread, as Jeff Wyatt remarked from an adjacent table: "Yeah it is! Better than sex!"

Strickland Knocks Out Keathley To Win Huge Pot

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was three ways on a flop of {4-Spades}{k-Spades}{6-Spades} with around 23,000 in the middle from preflop action. Tiffany Keathley checked from the big blind and Mykel Comroe checked behind her from early position to put action on Jamie Strickland, who bet 20,000 from middle position.

"I'm all in," announced Keathley after a while in the tank. Comroe immediately folded and Strickland called behind him just as quickly.

Tiffany Keathley: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Jamie Strickland: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Keathley had found herself hooked and in need of hitting one of the two remaining eights in the deck to stay alive. She would not do so as the turn {10-Clubs} and river {10-Hearts} completed the runout, leaving her two pair to be second best as she sent her last 55,000 or so over to Strickland, who now boasts a stack of over 150,000 in chips with less than 20 minutes until the final break of the evening.
