Williams Burned and Washed Out

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Dwayne Williams
Dwayne Williams

Dwayne Williams got his last 69,000 all in preflop from the cutoff and was looking to stay alive against Sam Washburn, who had called out of the small blind.

Sam Washburn: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Dwayne Williams: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Williams got it in good but a jack on the flop gave Washburn the lead. The latter wound up with a flush by the river and Williams was ousted in 20th place for $1,786.

Hinkle First Over a Million

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Blair Hinkle
Blair Hinkle

Blair Hinkle, who is in pursuit of his fourth RGPS Main Event title in 2019, has been on fire since the three-table redraw and has now become the first player over seven figures.

In a recent hand, there was around 200,000 in the pot and a board reading {6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} when Hinkle checked from the big blind and Eric Bunch bet 95,000 from the button.

Hinkle called and then checked again on the {a-Clubs} river. Bunch slid out a bet of 200,00 and Hinkle didn't take too long to call with {k-}{8-} for aces and eights, which bested Bunch's {10-}{6-}.

Ferrera Ousted in 28th Place; Three-Table Redraw Coming

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Keith Ferrera
Keith Ferrera

Keith Ferrera got his last 81,000 all in preflop and was looking to get lucky to double through Montana Bills.

Montana Bills: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Keith Ferrera: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Ferrera's best chance at staying alive was to catch an ace, but it wasn't in the cards as the board ran out a dry {3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

Ferrera was ousted in 28th place for $1,451, which means the remaining 27 players will now redraw down to the final three tables.

Jones Dispatches Sanders

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Michael Sanders
Michael Sanders

Jesse Jones opened for 12,000 from the hijack and was met by an all-in three-bet to 82,000 from Michael Sanders in the cutoff. The button and blinds all folded and Jones paused for a few beats before dropping in a call.

Michael Sanders: {k-Spades}{7-Spades}
Jesse Jones: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Jones had the best of it but Sanders was drawing to two live cards. Unfortunately for him, he failed to pair either of them as the board ran out a lackluster {5-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

Lampert Doubles Through Boston Rob

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Benji Lampert
Benji Lampert

Benjy Lampert moved all in for 80,000 from early position and "Boston" Rob Mariano isolated by moving all in over the top from the button.

Benjy Lampert: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Rob Mariano: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Lampert needed some help and got it when the {5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} flop gave him the lead with a pair of tens. Neither the {4-Diamonds} turn nor {2-Clubs} river changed a thing and Lampert doubled through.
