Coffman's Patience Pays Off

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Kevin Coffman has been waiting for his spot for a couple of levels, and he finally found it when it open-jammed for 18,000. A player on the button called with slightly more and the blinds got out of the way. Action was heads up and Coffman was at risk.

Kevin Coffman: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Coffman turned a king to win the hand and extend his tournament life.

"That's the best hand I've seen all day!" Coffman said as he gathered the pot.
