Foster Doubles Up

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Grant Foster raised to 2,000 from early positon and was called by Bernard Lee on the button, both blinds, and the under-the-gun player.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and action was checked to Foster who continued for 7,500. Lee went for a quick trip into the tank before cutting out a raise to 18,700.

Action folded back to Foster who then moved all in for slightly more, much to the displeasure of Lee as he sighed and threw in a call chip. The cards were then tabled, with Foster at risk of elimination.

Grant Foster: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Bernard Lee: {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Foster was ell in the lead with his pocket jacks which left Lee drawing only to a queen or running ace-king for a straight, but the board completed with {3-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Foster was awarded the big pot for a double-up.

Krouner Gets There on River

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

On a heads-up turn of {q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Aaron Knapp bet out 10,000 and was called by Kenneth Krouner.

The river came the {10-Hearts} and Knapp moved all in for around 15,000 and Krouner snap-called.

Knapp flipped over {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for two-pair, kings and sevens, but was shown the bad news when Krouner rolled over {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a rivered flush.

Knapp shook his head in disgust as his chips were pushed to Krouner and he was eliminated from the tournament

Stallcamp Binks RIver to Score Double Knockout

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

in a big four-way pot with one all in, the board read {k-Spades}{a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{3-Spades} when action checked to Chris Stallcamp, who then bet 11,500 into the 15,000 pot.

Dauod Yako to his left then moved all in for 15,900 total while Anastasia Knapp decided to get out of the way.

Stallcamp made the call and the three players tabled their cards, with Jose Araya and Yako at risk.

Jose Araya: {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Dauod Yako: {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Chris Stallcamp: {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Yako was well in the lead with his two-pair and nut flush draw, but the river did him dirty as the {a-Spades} peeled on the river to give Stallcamp a straight to scoop the pot, eliminating both of his opponents.

Stallcamp's stack soared to 80,000 while Araya headed to the rebuy desk.

Big Slick Wins Big Pot for Wakita

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Jose Araya, Shun Wakita, and the hijack player got all their chips in the middle preflop, with Araya covering.

Hijack: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Shun Wakita: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Jose Araya: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Unfortunately, for him and Araya, the flop of {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} gave Wakita the instant lead with his pair of aces, and the board completed with {3-Diamonds}{5-Spades} to give him the victory.

The shorter stacked hijack player was eliminated while Araya was left with just 1,000- which he managed to double up the very next hand.

Little Resistance for Stoneburner

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Rich Lanes opened to 600 from the cutoff but was then three-bet by David Stoneburner on the button. The big blind and the early position decided to come along and Lanes made the call as well.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{3-Spades} and action was checked around to Stoneburner who fired a continuation bet of 3,500.

This seemed to do the trick as all of his opponents folded one by one and he was awarded the pot.
