Day 1c and 1d to Start Today at 11 p.m. and 6 p.m. PST
The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Jamul Casino Main Event in San Diego continues today with flights 1c and 1d, the last of four starting flights in the $600 buy-in tournament.
Day 1c will commence today at 11:00 a.m. local time, while Day 1d will get underway later this evening at 6 p.m. The RGPS Jamul Casino Main Event has a guaranteed prize pool of $150,000 and will almost certainly surpass that as the next two flights get underway.
Like the previous flights, players will begin with a stack of 30,000 chips and blind levels of 100/200. Blind levels will last for 30 minutes in duration up to Level 12 and the tournament allows for unlimited re-entry up until the start of Level 9.
Days 1c and 1d will break after the player pool has dwindled down to the remaining 12.5% and those players will then be in the money. The remaining players at the end of each starting flight will then combine for Day 2 on Sunday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m. and will play down to a winner.
The eventual winner of the RGPS Jamul Casino Main Event will not only earn the lion’s share of the prize pool and RGPS ring, but also will receive an exclusive invitation and $800 seat and stipend package to the RGPS: All Stars ProAm Event at PokerGO Studio in December 2022.
Chris Smith bagged the chip in day 1b with a stack of 525,000, while other players in contention in Day 1b included RunGood ambassador Taylor Howard (458,000), Terry Davis (322,000), Kevin Meyers (253,000), and Bob Hoag (241,000).
