Wiltshire's Attempt to Build a Bigger Bag Halted

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Beau Wiltshire bagged 98,000 Friday night to guarantee himself a min-cash and a trip to Day 2, but he opted to try to build a bigger stack in flight 1b.

His efforts were recently thwarted by Mark Lafata after Wiltshire jammed his roughly 10,000 chip stack in the small blind and was called by Lafata in the big blind.

Beau Wiltshire: {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Mark Lafata: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

A ten on the {10-Spades}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop gave Lafata the lead, and the {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds} runout couldn't save Wiltshire, who could potentially still enter again or hop into flight 1c should he choose.

A Kinder Tournament in Tulsa

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Martin Kinder
Martin Kinder

It's a family affair for the Kinders here in Tulsa as father Martin along with his three sons, Kyle, Andrew, and Ryan are all playing today's flight 1b.

According to Martin, the last time the whole family played a tournament together, Kyle actually won the RunGood Joplin Main Event for $42,781, which is his career-best live tournament score.

Unfortunately for Kyle, he's been busted from this afternoon's flight, but he plans on reentering at some point today. Ryan has also busted his first bullet but is reentering with a fresh 30,000 chips.

Meanwhile, Martin and Andrew are both still in the field with healthy stacks.

Barrientos Builds With a Bustout

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

On a turn board of {j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, Thomas Seaton moved all in for a bit over 10,000 from the big blind. Mark Barrientos called in middle position to put Seaton at risk.

Thomas Seaton: {q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Mark Barrientos: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Barrientos' superior pair of queens had Seaton in trouble, with the {5-Diamonds} on the river sealing his fate.

Seaton told PokerNews after the hand that he'll be back for the 6 p.m. flight.
