Scalise Forces a Fold, Leaves Opponent Wondering

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

After the player under the gun raised to 3,200, he was called by Nick Scalise in middle position, as well as the button and the big blind.

The four players saw a flop of {j-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and after action was checked to the original raiser, he bet 12,000. Scalise then made it 25,000, and action was folded back to the original raiser who called, leaving himself about 32,000 behind.

On the {7-Diamonds} turn, the under-the-gun player checked and Scalise snap-jammed to put his opponent at risk.

After a couple of minutes of deliberation, the under-the-gun player folded {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} face up and Scalise was pushed the pot.

Scalise showed the {j-Spades}, suggesting he either had the same hand, an inferior jack, or a set, leaving his opponent wondering if he made the correct fold.

Vang Takes Battle of Big Stacks at Table 3

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Two of the biggest stacks in the room are held by Angela Jordison and Xai Vang who are both seated at table 3.

The duo recently clashed in a healthy pot that saw Vang claim potentially the biggest stack in the room.

Picking action up on the turn with a board of {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and approximately 20,000 in the middle, Jordison bet 11,300 from middle position and was called by Vang.

The river brought the {6-Spades} and after a bit of thought, Jordison checked. Vang took a moment of pause as well before checking behind.

"King-high" declared Jordison, before Vang turned over {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a winning two pair to drag the healthy pot before break.

Swan Dives Over 200k

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

With approximately 13,000 in the middle on a completed board of {2-Spades}{a-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, Charles Swan tossed a pair of orange T-5,000 chips forward to bet 10,000.

His opponent in middle position shook his head in frustration, then reached for his stack and tossed a pair of his own orange chips forward to call.

Swan showed {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for a turned wheel, as his opponent continued to shake his head then tossed his cards forward as well into the muck. The pot was pushed to Swan, moving his stack over 200,000.

About 18,000 was in the middle on a turn board of {9-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} when Joshua Prager moved all in for 16,000 over his opponent's bet of 5,000.

After a bit of deliberation, Prager got a fold, then proudly showed {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

"I was bluffing, but with the best hand," said Prager as the pot was pushed in his direction.
