Riebel Spikes Turn

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Matt Riebel
Matt Riebel

"Ok, let's go again!" Matt Riebel announced as he pushed all 47,500 of his chips into the middle.

The action then folded around to Chris Conrad who slowly peeled his cards...

"Halfway there," he said as he looked at the first one, " Ok I call," he announced as he set out his chips while the last player folded.

Matt Riebel: A10
Chris Conrad: 1010

Conrad was a big favorite with his pocket tens, and the flop of 936 was favorable to him, but the turn A gave Reibel the ace he was looking for to take the lead. The river K did not change anything and Riebel was awarded th pot for a big double.

Freeze Pays Off Lanning

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Ezgi Lanning
Ezgi Lanning

On a heads-up flop of 1093, the pot already had 28,000 in it when Jimmy Freeze led out for 25,000. But then Ezgi Lanning moved all in for a total of 85,900 and now Freeze was in the tank.

"Ugh, I don't think I can fold this," Freeze groaned as he stared at his hand. After a few more moments, he made the call to put her at risk.

Lanning flipped over 99 for a flopped set of nines and Freeze shook his head as he tabled QQ for an over pair.

The runout of KA did not help him and Lanning was awarded the large pot for a big double-up while Freeze was left with close to 50,000.

Joe Cashen
Joe Cashen

After some preflop back-and-forth, Joe Cashen and Ezgi Lanning managed to get all of their chips into the middle, with Cashen at risk of elimination.

Joe Cashen: 88
Ezgi Lanning: QQ

Lanning had the upper hand with her pocket queens, but the table groaned as the 8 appeared in the window to give Cashen a set. Unfortunately for him, the Q was right behind it on the Q98 flop to gove the lead back to Lanning.

The runout of 34 did not help Cashen one bit and he was eliminated from this flight as Lanning scored the double-up.
