After a preflop betting war, Jimmy Born had made it 7,000 to go and Alvin Anton made the call to see the flop of K♣5♠5♥. Born then led out for 5,200 and then Anton moved all in for around 15,000 to cover him, which Born snap-called.
Jimmy Born: A♠Q♠
Alvin Anton: 8♥8♠
Anton was very shocked to be ahead after he was snapped off, and the runout of 10♦4♦ kept it that way to award him the pot while Born was sent to the exit.
Born then wasted no time in jumping back in the tournament and now has a fresh stack of 30,000.

On a heads-up completed board of J♥8♦7♥A♣6♣, Brian Stroh had made it 10,000 to go but then Scott Panozzo raised the price of poker to 26,000.
Stroh then went into the tank for a good thirty seconds, debating within himself whether to make the call or not.
He eventually tossed in the chips but was then shown 9♦10♦ by Panozzo for the flopped nut straight and Stroh looked very surprised as he quickly tossed his cards into the muck.
On a heads-up turn of 9♦Q♥3♣2♦, Ryan Brown checked over to Michael Anderson who bet 2,500 into the pot of around 7,000.
Brown made the call and the two went to the river 3♥ and both players decided to check.
Anderson tabled K♥Q♠ for queens-up and Brown hastily mucked to award him the pot.

Yat Wai Cheng opened to 600 from the cutoff and was then three-bet by Chris Conrad from the small blind to 3,000 after the button made the call. Cheng then put in the four-bet to 8,200 and the button quickly folded but Conrad moved all in with his fresh stack of around 27,000.
Cheng pondered his decision for a few moments before letting his cards go and Conrad was awarded the pot.
Short stacks Mark Dickstein and Timothy Faro moved all in preflop for around 3,000 each and were called by James Sloat to put them at risk.
Mark Dickstein: 6♥8♠
Timothy Faro: A♠K♥
James Sloat: 5♥5♦
Sloat's pocket fives were good on the turn board of 2♥2♦9♠3♣, but the river A♥ gave the win to Faro for a triple-up while Dickstein headed to the registration desk.
