On a heads-up flop of Q♣2♥2♠, there was already 42,000 in the bloated pot when Trieu Pham bet an extra 20,000 into it. His opponent, Duc Nguyen, made the call and the two went to the turn 6♠.
Pham then tossed out 35,000, which was enough to cover Nguyen who quickly tossed out his remaining chips to put himself at risk.
The two players then had a standoff where neither player would table their cards, with the dealer telling them multiple times to do so. Pham finally flipped over Q♦J♣ and Nguyen responded by tabling a superior A♦Q♥.
The river came the A♥ to further improve Nguyen and he was awarded the pot for a big double-up.

On a three-way flop of 2♣A♥A♦, all players checked around to see the K♦ appear on the turn. The first player checked once more, then James Malcolm took a stab at it for 8,000 and Joe Nguyen made the call while the other player got out of the way.
The river came the 6♣ and Malcolm decided to check over to Nguyen, who thought for a second before setting out a large bet of 33,000.
Malcolm went briefly into the tank before he made the call, but then Nguyen showed him A♣Q♠ for trip aces, queen kicker, and Malcolm quickly mucked.

The remaining 67 players are now on a 15-minute break and will return to action shortly. The blue 500-chips will also be raced off and colored-up at this time.
On a heads-up turn of 5♥8♥A♦7♣, there was already 40,500 in the pot when Ryan Awwad led out for 17,000.
The action was then on James Malcolm, who went into the tank for a bit before he moved all in for 57,500.
Awwad snap-called and flipped over A♥5♣ for a flopped two-pair, but his stomach sank when Malcolm turned over 8♠8♣ for a flopped set of eights.
Only an ace would give Awwad the win, but the 6♦ on the river was not it and Malcolm claimed the pot for a big double.
