The players are now on the first 15-minute break of the day and will return to action shortly.
On a multi-way flop of J♣Q♥10♠, Jose Lara and Samuel Cade checked to Siddharth Desai who bet 3,000 and was called by Mark Katz to his left.
Lara also made the call but then Cade check-raised all in for 15,000 and the action was back to Desai who made the call. Katz then moved all in for less and Lara decided to get out of the way as the cards were tabled.
Mark Katz: K♥6♥
Samuel Cade: K♦Q♣
Siddharth Desai: K♣Q♦
All three players had an open-ended straight draw, but Cade and Desai also had a pair of queens, king kicker, as backup.
The board ran out 4♣2♦ for all players to brick their straight draw, but Cade and Desai chopped the pot while Katz was eliminated.

On a heads-up flop, there was around 9,000 in the pot when Peter Pham bet 2,500 after a check from his opponent, Charles James.
James made the call and the duo went to the turn 9♠, which saw another check from James.
Pham then fired again for 4,000 and that seemed to do the trick as James quickly tossed his hand into the muck and the pot was pushed to Pham.

On a heads-up flop of J♣8♦7♦, there was around 4,000 in the pot when Darrell Cain in the small blind bombed it for 11,200 and action was then on Jeffrey Buchman in the cutoff.
Buchman then bombed it even further by moving all in for a total of 28,400 and Cain then went into the tank.
"I'll show you either way," Buchman told him after a while, but Cain was still on the fence.
"Alright, I'll let you have it," Cain said a few moments later and tossed in his hand.
"Flopped it," Buchman announced as he flipped over 9♥10♣ for the nut straight while Cain said he folded king-nine of diamonds.

On a three-way turn of 9♥K♠7♥4♦, big blind Mateos Sanabria checked to blank in late position, who then bet 2,500.
Ivan Bereza then made the call from the cutoff, and Sanabria thought for a bit before making the call as well, and the trio went to the river 6♣.
Sanabria then snap-shoved all-in for around 27,000 and blank quickly folded and the action was then to Bereza who went into the tank.
After a good 20 seconds, he shook his head and slammed his stack into the middle, putting himself at risk. Sanabria sighed and turned over 9♠10♣ for a pair of nines while Bereza proudly flipped over K♦10♦ for a superior pair of kings.
"Yes! I knew it!" Bereza punched the air as he was pushed the large pot for a big double-up. Meanwhile, Sanabria was left with only 1,700 and wound up busting the very next hand.
