Chen Eliminated as Bubble Bursts

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Short-stacked James Chen moved all in for his last 20,000 and was called off by Michael Hubbard who claimed he did not even look at his cards.

When it was time for showdown, the cards were tabled.

James Chen: A2
Michael Hubbard: A9

"Wow!" the table gasped at the hands.

They gasped even harder when the flop came out 238 to give Chen the lead with his deuce. Unfortunately, the runout of A3 counterfeited him and Hubbard won the pot with his eight-kicker, eliminating Chen on the stone bubble.

Patterson Hooks Two!

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Carolyn Patterson
Carolyn Patterson

After short-stacked Stella Su shoved, Calen McNickles was next to move all in for more and the action was back to Carolyn Patterson.

After taking a few moments, she made the call to put both of them at risk and the cards were tabled.

Stella Su: J9
Calen McNickles: A10
Carolyn Patterson: JJ

The board ran out K55103 for Patterson to score a clean scoop and eliminated both opponents in one foul swoop.

Three Jacks = 2 Knockouts for Wu

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

After a preflop shoving war, Hien Hoang, Joseph Blackwell, and Feiyue Wu got all of their chips into the middle, with Wu covering them.

Hien Hoang: A6
Joseph Blackwell: AA
Feiyue Wu: JJ

Blackwell was in a great spot to scoop a huge pot, but the flop was definitely not his friend as it came [5J7 to give Wu top set of jacks to take the lead as the table let out a collective groan.

The runout of 53 did not help either of his opponents and Wu scooped the entire pot while they were eliminated.
