Davis Defeats Dick to Double

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Craig Dick opened to 5,000 preflop and was called only by Marquez Davis in late position to see the flop of J53.

Dick then continued for another 5,000 and Davis responded by moving all in for 7,900 total. Dick quickly made the call and Davis flipped over 88 for a pair of eights.

"Well, this is funny," Dick chuckled to himself as he flipped over 77 for an inferior pair.

The board ran out 99 for Davis' eights to hold and the pot was pushed his way for the double-up.

Albert Shoves River

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

After a couple of players limped in, David Greufe raised it up to 2,200 on the button and was called by Chris Albert, Craig Dick, and one other player to see the flop of 49K.

After all the players checked, they saw the turn fall the A and the action checked around to Greufe who fired out a bet of 4,000.

Only Albert on his left made the call to see the K fall on the river, to which he quickly moved all in for around 20,000.

Greufe did not waste any time and quickly mucked his hand after a disappointed shake of his head to award the pot to Albert.

No Sweat for Lafata

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

On a flop of 976, Daril Osuna-Llamas open-shoved for around 20,000 and Mark Lufata quickly made the call to put him at risk.

Daril Osuna-Llamas: A5
Mark Lufata: K7

Osuna-Llamas was in rough shape with his inside straight draw versus Lufata's pair and flush draw, and the Q on the turn left him drawing dead. The 10 on the river sealed his fate and the pot was awarded to Lufata to increase his sizable stack to over 100,000.

King Makes the Call

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

C opened to 2,000 preflop but was then three-bet to 6,000 by Thomas King to his left. Action folded back around to Mustafa who made the call to see the flop of K3A. which both players checked.

Mustafa and King also checked when the turn came 7 and they went straight to the river 2.

Mustafa then fired out a large bet of 11,000 and King thought about it for a few seconds before he tossed out the call, to which Mustafa shook his head and tabled 65 for a stone bluff. King then proudly turned over 24 for a pair of deuces on the river to take down the sizeable pot.

"Wow! You called me with bottom pair?!" Mustafa couldn't believe what he was seeing as the pot was dragged over to King.
