Burns Runs Into Pratt's Aces

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

After recalling a recent bad beat to PokerNews, Anthony Burns then moved all in against Denise Pratt, who called, putting him at risk.

Anthony Burns: {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Denise Pratt: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

Burns need some help with this one, but the board of {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{k-Hearts} did no such thing and he was sent to the rail as Pratt stacked her newly acquired chips.

Brutal Finish for Cunningham

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

After some back-and-forth betting, Shane Bissinger and TJ Cunningham got all their chips in the middle before the flop, with Bissinger at risk.

Shane Bissinger: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
TJ Cunningham: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Cunningham had his opponent heavily dominated going into this matchup, but the flop of {10-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs} did him dirty asit gave Bissinger the lead with two-pair. Cunningham could still hit an ace or a queen to win, but the runout of {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} did not provide for him and Bissinger was awarded the pot. After the chips were counted, Cunningham was left with less than a big blind and ended up busting a few hands later.

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Cunningham Triples in Three-Way

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

After some back-and-forth betting, William Dixon, TJ Cunningham, and Richard Hughes got all the chips in the middle preflop, with Hughes covering.

William Dixon: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
TJ Cunningham: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Richard Hughes: {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

"Come on, hold!" Cunningham shouted as he realized he was the favorite of the trio, and the flop of {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} put him further into the lead as he paired his jack. This flop also gave Hughes an open-ended straight draw, and the turn gave him even more outs now that he made a pair of sixes. Unfortunately for Hughes, the river {2-Hearts} was a complete brick and Cunningham scored the triple-up as Dixon was eliminated.

"Wow, I cant believe I held there, the person in first almost never wins in the three-way!" Cunningham said as he scooped the pot.

Conrad Falls to Byers

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Christopher Conrad moved all in from under-the-gun for 33,500 and was called by big-stack Michael Byers to his direct left. The cards were then tabled, with Conrad at risk.

Christopher Conrad: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}
Michael Byers: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Conrad started off behind with his inferior ace, and the board did him no favors as the runout of {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} sent the RunGood Ambassador to the rail.

Pho Holds in Three-Way All In

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After a quick betting war, Scott Brandau, Gene Dubar, and Chico Pho found themselves all in preflop, with Dubar covering both.

Scott Brandau: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Gene Dubar: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Chico Pho: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Pho was the favorite going into this bout with his pocket jacks, and the board of {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} kept him in the lead and he scored the triple up while Dubar took the side pot. Meanwhile, Brandau was eliminated and he exited the tournament area to return tomorrow for Flight B.
