The first flight of the RunGood Poker Series Tunica $600 Main Event has come to a close at Horseshoe Tunica Hotel and Casino. A total of 150 entrants fired their shot to make the second day and the money, but only 19 of them made the cut.
Jon Swift holds the chip lead with 389,000. Swift began stacking chips late at night and won a massive hand near the bubble when he called check-called Kyle Cartwright all the way down to the river in a 220,000 chip pot. Coming in just behind him is James Hart with 383,000 and David Frazier with 374,000. Rounding out the fourth and fifth spots are recent RGPS ring-winner Katerina Lukina and Saeed Nid with 334,000 and 284,000, respectively.

Two former RGPS Tunica champions remain in the field Denise Pratt (240,000) and Max Le (92,000). Both are looking to add a second main event ring to their own illustrious resumes.
Players who were less fortunate included RGPS Ambassadors Chris Conrad and Bart Bogard, along with Kyle Cartwright and 2003 WSOP Main Event Champion Chris Moneymaker. They will all have the option to buy into either of tomorrow's flights for another chance to make Day 2.

Walker Miskelly moved all in on the stone bubble and was called by Khanh Chau, who covered. After the other tables completed action, the cards were then tabled, with Miskelly at risk.

Chau was a slight favorite in this flip, and the flop of really sealed the deal as he flopped a set of sixes, which left Miskelly only with running spades for a chop. The left Miskelly drawing dead and the completed the board to eliminate Miskelly on the stone bubble.

With just 20 players remaining, the Tournament Director has initiated hand-for-hand play as the they are now on the money bubble.
Katerina Lukina and Bryan Loch got it all in preflop one spot away from the bubble, with Loch at risk.

Lukina was the favorite with her pair in this flip, and the board of was pure for her as she knocked out Loch and increased her stack to over 300,000.

After an open from Jon Swift, Kyle Cartwright three-bet to 35,000 and action folded back around to Swift, who called.
The flop came out and Swift checked to the aggressor, who continued for 18,000.
Swift called the bet and the two went to the turn , which saw another check-call from Swift, but this time for 56,000.
The river fell a complete blank and Swift checked to Cartwright once more.
"Alright, I give up, I check," Cartwright sighed and was shown by Swift to take the huge pot of over 200,000, which boosted him into the chip lead with a stack of 500,000.

After an open to 16,000 under-the-gun, Ryan Lima made the call from middle position, but then Drew Gonzalez moved all in for a total of 97,000.
The original raiser promptly folded, but Lima made the call, which put Gonzalez at risk.

"Ahh, nice hand bro," Gonzalez said to Lima, but as soon as the words came out of his mouth the dealer put out a flop of to give him top set of tens. Lima just shook his head as the board completed with to give Gonzalez the double up, much to Lima's dismay.
