Santos Holds to Bust Holcomb

Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Rommel Santos opened to 4,800 and Rommel Santos moved all in right behind him for 11,200 total. When the action folded back around to him, Santos made the call to put Holcomb at risk.

David Holcomb: A8[alin]
Rommel Santos: 55

Holcomb would need to improve to win this flip, but the runout of J6KQQ failed to do so and he was sent to the rail while Santos dragged the pot.

Dobbins Flops the Joint to Crack Ponferrada's Aces

Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

On a heads-up flop of 678, Scott Dobbins checked to his opponent, Ronald Ponferrada, who bet 6,500. Dobbins then tossed out a call and the two went to the turn 4.

Dobbins checked, Pnferrada fired for 17,000, and Dobbins replied by moving all in. Ponferrada quickly called to put himself at risk and flipped over AA, but quickly realized he was drawing stone dead once Dobbins flipped over 910 for the nut straight.

The river 5 ironically put a straight on the board while the pot was pushed to Dobbins while Ponferrada headed to the exit.

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
James Hartigan
James Hartigan

James Hartigan opened to 2,500 preflop and was called by Brian Del Rosario to see a flop of J3A.

Hartigan then moved all in to cover Del Rosario, who only had around 10,000 behind.

"Well, I don't have anything right now..." Del Rosario admitted, but he made the call anyway to put himself at risk.

Brian Del Rosario: KQAll in
James Hartigan: KJ

Hartigan was in good shape with his pair of jack with a king, and the runout of 25 awarded him the pot while Del Rosario found the exit.
