Drewery Good with a Deuce
Level 9
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
The action was caught in a heads-up pot between Jeremy Drewery and Brett Hagopian on a completed board that read 5♥3♦8♦K♦2♥. Drewery had just led out for 17,500 and Hagopian was in the tank.
After thirty seconds or so, Hagopian decided to look him up and tossed out a call.
Drewery then flipped over A♥2♠ for just a pair of deuces on the river but to everyone's surprise, it was good as Hagopian flashed A♦9♥ before he tossed it into the muck.
"Wow," Drewery said and shook his head in disbelief as he raked in the big pot.
